Hi, I'm new to the forums but have been researching motors for a fair while.

We're trying to build a super high efficiency hydrogen eco-car, but I'm having trouble sourcing a motor.

We're looking for a brushless DC motor and plan on driving it with trapezoidal commutation but most of the ones I seem to find use sinusoidal back EMF.

Specs we're sort of looking for:

Efficiency: Higher is better
Power output: ~5nm @ 400rpm at the wheels but will most likely use a fixed gearing to run a higher RPM motor.

If anyone might be able to point me in the right direction or provide more info I would be very grateful, or even some more suppliers to consider.

Thanks
