A (first, simple) measure is a voltage checker for each cell, for example with a device like this, one for each 8 cells.
It measures and shows the lowest voltage of each (of the 8) cells and can give a buzz when a configured low voltage level is reached.
Of course, you have to build an adapter, which needs a plug for a line from each cell (typically used for 'balancing' during load).
But, on your car, according to safety regulations, all this is likely enclosed in a casing, and if you open it, loose the warranty ;-)
