I've been looking through Google. Recently aquired an untested HVH250-115s off eBay. I stuck my cheap Amazon meter on the phases and proceeded to read 0.00 Ohms between the phases. Experience tells me I should see some Ohms but not much. New at large scale motors. I'm use to dealing with servos and such for aircraft.

So the question is...what are the normal readings for the HVH motors?

Hi box,

Phase resistance is undoubtedly on the order of milliohms, maybe 10's of milliohms. Way, way to low for even good multimeters. A Whetstone bridge is typically used.
