Hi, i am new in the forum, my name is Guillermo Arias, i live in Peru. I would like to make an electric car like the Freeway HMV:

I want it for 2 people, it's intended for long trips and also city commute. The problem is that i don't know how to begin because i have not a deep knowledge on electronics, electricity nor mechanics. I am just an enthusiast with some knowledge and skills.
I would like this vehicle to be capable to run long distances (e.g. 500km) a day, and for recharging batteries on highways i think that i could use a 200cc 4 strokes motorcycle engine attached to a car alternator.
What do you think?
Do somebody can enlight me please an tell me what parts i need?
