Hi,
I'm looking to package ID3 modules for use in two different conversion projects:
1. Low voltage Hyper 9 using 2 modules in series, 3 in parallel
2. Tesla model 3 motor using 8 modules in series, 1 or 2 in parallel
Has anyone been looking at cooling plates for the ID3 modules, either homemade or off-the-shelve purchase of plates?
Thanks!

The ID.3 (and ID.4 and ID.5) modules appear to be 590 mm long, which means that they might follow the VDA 590 module size standard. That has not used in many cars before these MEB-platform VWs, but is available from battery module manufacturers in China (apparently used in buses), so perhaps someone has cooling plates for them. I might try searching using the "VDA 590" description, although I haven't found any cooling plates yet that way.

Can cooling components be salvaged from VW packs?
