I live on the east side of Cincinnati. In March bought a 94S10 converted by EVermont. 120V of US145 batts, FB4001 motor. Put over 1200 local miles on it so far. I filled out the EVALBUM page #1317 several weeks ago, but for some reason it's not available to anyone but me. That page has all the stats. Put an email to webmaster but no response yet. Seems like a lot of new activity.
One big suggestion to anyone considering a 120V (or less) system is go to 144V for this size vehicle. That means a new controller unless someone knows if a Curtis 1231 can be modified.
My batteries have the guts to travel the interstate and their slight grades, but I feel the motor is the weak link when operated at mere 105-120V. Electric motors have a tendancy to heat up when operated at lower voltages. So, I can do 55-60 at reasonable amps until I hit the grades. Then I slow to 55-50-45...OK, go ahead and pass me.
