My 94 S10 has the Curtis 1231C-7701 controller, 120V, 550Amp.
I have thought of increasing the battery pack to 144V to improve hill climbing but not worth it if I have to buy another ~$1500 controller. Some criticize Curtis, as well.

How much voltage can you safely go? (It charges the pack to 150V now)
Has anyone upgraded their 120V controller?
Any experience as to the pitfalls? Is it more than changing a resistor somewhere? Or increase the voltage ratings of the SCRs? IGBTs? Something this e-tech can do?
