Hi i am converting my gasoline moto to electric.
Engine was broken
Motor: QS motor 8000w peak 21000w
Controller: Kelly kls96601
Battery: 72V60Ah lifepo4 , bms ant 300A

Yea I saw that while browsing for ktm rc ev conversion.. from the given specs the motor is just as powerful as a ktm rc/duke 200 so its a perfect swap.. how’d you break your rim though, riding offroad or hitting a pothole?.. are those rims durable enough for long travels?

He has a video of the bike hitting a pothole, instantly discovering the major weakness of hub motors...unsprung mass.

A lighter wheel would have responded by being accelerated upwards by the tire forces, vs bending the rim to absorb them as the high mass wheel was accelerating upwards.
