Hi guys.
I’m going to convert my classic
Nissan Sonny truck to ev an have the big questions on want engine you would choose.
Here is som spec for my car and my wish.
Car is about 500kg an just for fun and only need about 100km range.
I have space for 6 Tesla modul under my bed or 6 id3 modul.
I will go for a non gearbox an put in a torquebox 1.9:1 an have 4:11 ind the rear.

leaf have som more power an in family with my Nissan an therefore better for approval but need a lot more battery.

What do you me.

Why so much range? Do you drive that much per day? No access to electricity to charge overnight?

Carrying extra mass of battery for a once or twice a year trip is a kinda dumb notion many ICE owners persist with. With an EV you have the ability to "fill up" every night.

The range is my last wish
It’s the power that is important for me.
I have my oven company an do cars.
so my car is standing there and just go for small trip but will like to have the opportunity to drive home 30km an then at work again.

The leaf battery case accounts for quite a bit of the weight. If your repackaging, that’s Somme good weigh saving there.

the leaf motor itself is a 250kw+ class motor. Just battery/inverter limited. as 80kw. Inverter can be tuned to push out around 140kw. The 110/160kw inverter igbts should handle 250kw output.
