Sometimes AV programs will identify legitimate programs as possibly viral because they can open files on their own, can modify files, etc. If it's giving a specific virus warning, then it would apepar to be infected. If it's giving a more generic error, it's probably nothing and you can tell it to ignore that warning and let the program run.
