Thanks for the thread. I was wondering how to bypass converter and thought it was electrically speaking somehow between inverter and engine. Stepping up 3 ac wires. Now i see HV goes to converter and then to inverter. That makes things easier. In the end it looks like the only way to get things going is to scratch my head while looking at the stuff in my garage and figure it out eventually, instead of daydreaming how to put all this stuff together without physically having inverter/motor.
