Hello

I run a working stables. I have 55 stalls to muck out each day. Currently we load manure into two old Pick up trucks that haul to a dumpster. These trucks get started about 15-20 times a day and are moved a maximum of 0.5 miles. I would like to convert an old truck that no longer works to electric. I only need the truck to go a max speed of 15mph or less. What is the smallest motor I could use? what are the bare minimum components that I need? I think I only need a motor, batteries and a braking method. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Awesome news! I am looking now and I found a go cart kit that runs 24V. I may try to use that or my son has a controller setup using an arduino. This is a big push to start this project. I will update when we start the project. Thanks again.
