Am in the process of ordering a bldc motor connected to a split differential
And will order a driver to go with it.
Am just wondering what requirements are needed to match the driver ratings to motor ratings
Does it matter if the driver has a higher wattage rating than the motor?
As my understanding is current draw is determined by voltage and resistance of the motor windings
Am just thinking to get driver with higher wattage for future
If I eventually decide to get a higher powered motor
Cant find any articles that describe requirements
Does anyone have any leads
Or web sites that explain this?
