I have been thinking about something couples year ago and the time has come to give it a try!. I have e moped from my grandfather, a Vesino GL 1977, a vintage Spanish bike and i would like to do the conversion to electric.
here some info:
Original specs:
- 2,2 hbp at 4600 rpm
- dry weight 52 kg
- wheel dimension 18 " 2 1/4 "
what i want it to achieve:
- speed of aprox 35 mph
- range 15-20 miles
Really what i want is speed, i will not do more than 6 miles per day.
i've been doing some calculations and that what i've come up:
1 option:
- battery pack 48v 20 ah = 960 wh
- kunray dc brushless motor 48 v 2000w
- kunray controller 48v 2000w
- 4300 rpm max 5400 rpm
option 2:
- battery pack 60v 20 ah = 1200wh
- kunray dc brushless motor 60 v 2000w
- kunray controller 60v 2000w
what would you think would suit better?
