All the cooling fans for electric motors that I has seen
are just iron bent into series of 90* ears. Very poor description,
but you have seen them. Why are they not built more in the shape
of a propeller or a house fan blade. My motor has been sealed
but I'm about to open it up for more circulation and I guess I'll
see if it gets much air pushed through the motor with the
standard design.
Anyway the standard fans don't look like a design to force a
lot of air through the motor, why the design?
