Hi all,
I'm sure somebody on here must have tackled this, but I've struggled to find a complete answer..
I am using an MR2 Spyder EHPS pump on my conversion, and would like to feed it a vehicle speed input so it reduces assistance with speed automatially as it would in the MR2. However I am unsure of what signal type it expects and pulses per mile?
I believe pulses per mile is 4000? So I have set up a trigger wheel and hall effect sensor to mimic this on my car. Can anyone confirm this is correct?
Is the EHPS ECU expecting a square wave as I'll get from my hall effect sensor, or a sin wave as youd get froma reluctor?
Finally, are 5v or 12v peaks preferred?
Hope someone can help!
Thanks,
Tom
