Ok I've put a total of 20 miles on my Opel. So far I've had 2 people jump in front of me waving me down wanting to know why my car doesn't make any sound. Plus I've gotten some of the strangest looks driving around the neighborhood. And I've yet to get it on the road still waiting to get it tagged and plates. It's currently one sweet ass neighborhood electric.

You'll just have to play a recording of a crappy little motor on a portable tape recorder while your driving ... at least until you have it licenced and insured for the road ...

Like they did in 'The Absent Minded Professor' in 1961 ... to make the 'Flubber Car' sound like a tin lizzy ...

This should work ... just play it LOUD ... the crappy little Isetta (Urkel) type of ICE that I'm replacing in my build ...

Yeah, I have been rear ended about 4 times so far by people reading the ELECTRIC sign then looking for the tail pipe. No damage cause it mostly at stop lights and people will let off the brake while leaning over the steering wheel.

At least my brake pump makes noise so people can hear me coming down the street at low speeds, but my EV is pretty quiet when doing 45 MPH, so there have been some close calls.
