New Aussie member, excited to join the group, looking forward to learning heaps.

When I got my licence in 1971 on my 18th birthday, I was the proud owner of an Austin A30. It came with a spare engine and with the help of uncle Jim, (a motor mechanic), I rebuilt the spare engine and fitted it later that year. Now that I am retired, I have a yearning to restore an A30 and since I realised that there is a DIY EV conversion community, I became interested in learning more with a view to possibly creating an electric powered Austin.
