Can you talk a bit more about what you've done on this project ? I have built this a while back :

where the motor (ME1004) just replaces the original gas motor, and machine drives on its original hydrostatic transmission, but there is quite a bit of waste going on in the transmission and the machine is quite jumpy which is annoying. Would like to revisit with some kind of transaxle for the drive, and keeping ME1004 just to run the mower deck.
