New member introduction. I daily drive a 1989 Sportroof Toyota Supra. Unlike the vast majority of Supra owners, I don't care about going fast. I have a 100 mile per day commute of mostly highway miles and I like driving a GT cruiser with the targa top off. My office has two EV charging stations free for employees so an EV makes a lot of sense. I don't care about going fast so the drop in Tesla S conversion is of no interest to me. I don't think what I want, a drop in everyday commuter car conversion, is available so I am signing up to keep tabs on this subject as it evolves. I don't have much to contribute but look forward to an eventual swap.

Also: I am not trying to do this on a budget. I have a decent job and could afford to buy a new Lexus RC coupe if I wanted. What I want, a targa roof touring coupe, is not made by anybody today. I am going to "DIY" this by paying someone to do a conversion. Like my car, this is about getting what I want, not doing a project.
