Re: FS: New Revolt 144V 500A Controller $700

Cost?
approximate shipping weight?
has it had a run in time?
payment method?
It is being tested by an EV coversion company at the moment. Will have another built in a few weeks. Price is $700, I will accept paypal. The weight is 9lbs.
I am wondering about the little sticker you have on there that says unit must be pre-charged.... HOW do we do that, and why is it not handled internally when powered up? i.e. I didn't have to do anything to pre-charge a Curtis 1221 ?
Curtis says to always use precharge.
Curtis says to always use precharge.
how do you precharge Curtis??
how do you precharge Curtis??
With a precharge resistor, same as any controller that needs it. Curtis provides additional commentary and recommended values in the manual, but I won't post that here.

However, here's a thread on precharging an open revolt.
how do you precharge Curtis??
Resistor across the coil (contactor).
Can you build the controller to handle higher voltages?
