[Zuffen]

Hi,

My names s Rod but I use Zuffen in all Forum to which I belong.

I've never had an EV but it's a scratch that is crying out to be scratched.

I live in Sydney Australia and I'm a retired Insurance Underwriter.

My mechanical ability is fairly healthy with numerous build behind me. I have an ICV (Individually Constructed Vehicle) registered which is a pretty hard thing to do in my State. Think 10-20 registered per year in a State of 6,000,000 people.

I don't have a chosen vehicle (more an interest) and range is open to what i can achieve, as is performance.

Cost doesn't bother too much as I can't take it with me!

Whilst I live in Suburbia now I'm moving into the Country in the next 24 months so range may become an issue.

I want to learn as much as I can about the subject before making any firm plans.

I too am new to the EV world & am gearing up to by a Zero FXS motorbike as my first, with the goal to eventually pull it apart and modify to its (or my) eventual / inevitable death.

I'm a kiwi who lived in North Ryde & N. Narrabeen for 8-odd years, now based in OR, USA after a couple years in Argentina.

I've just joined the Oregon Electric Vehicle Association & will be heading to my first meeting with real faces next week. Will be great to see some conversions there & pick the brains of local builders / owners.
