I'm just wondering why only VERY few vendors ever list their price?
I'm very new to the world of EVs, and I've only just started research
a few days ago. Creating a list of ideas, a shopping list, among other
things, but what seems to be aggravating me the most about my
search is that so few vendors actually ever list their prices.
Motors and batteries so far seem to be the biggest offenders. Even
with what I would think to be large producers like Optima and Trojan,
I can't find prices anywhere for their lead acid batteries! Mind you,
I don't know SPECIFICALLY what I'm looking for in a battery just yet,
I have much more to read up on, but I'm trying to create a cut down
list of affordable, "in my budget" parts that I'll be able to choose from.
So far I know, I guess that these big producers distribute through
outside vendors, but even then, you'll visit the vendor site, and I'm
only shown "Contact us!
" pages.
WHY NOT JUST POST YOUR PRICES, VENDORS?!
But, to hopefully prevent rage, is there something I'm missing here?
Does buying batteries and all of this industrial equipment done far
differently than just say buying anything else online? I would just think
it would be like any other online shopping site like going to Amazon
for new guitar strings or something.
Do help, pl0x? Heh.. I mean, I'll continue looking, I'm not looking to be
spoonfed information, but if anyone would be so kind as to provide some
tips for buying this stuff or if anyone could possibly point out some good
vendor sites? X:
