It's for an off-road project requiring remote control. I don't need "Park Assist" as such, just the CAN codes that are used to control the steering. The new controller will probably end up being Arduino based. All I have found so far is the Steering Angle at address 0x236. I have an 8633A109 (MK3?) column in a test setup. Any help much appreciated.
Curiously, while connected to only a 12V power source, the EPS ECU repeatedly outputs data on address 0x2F1. This data clearly relates to the torque sensor and can be seen changing with torque but NOT with angle. The 0x236 (angle) message never appears, suggesting it is a poll response? E.G: 0x2F1, 00, 80, 15, 0C, 00, 5F, FF, 00.
