I bought a PB-6 type throttle that is 0-5v instead of the 0-5k ohms. Everything i read is 5+ volts for input. Has anyone used one of the 0-5v halleffect type yet that could lend some insite?
Assuming the speed controller puts out 5V to the 5k pedal, it should work. All you need is a voltmeter to check that. If the power to the pot pedal from the controller is 12V, life just got a lot more complicated.
