For starters, I built a Jeep EV a few years ago....it was a bad situation. And now I drive a Tesla MS :)

For work I do snow removal. I have a wild idea, I want to put an 8' snowblower in the back of a Ram 4500. Normally this outfit would require a 40hp motor and hydraulic pump in the back of the truck.

BUT.... www.realacpower.com makes a 60kw pto powered generator that is mounted between the frame rails.

THIS got me thinking, why not put an electric motor, like a HPEV AC50 on the blower, and power it directly with the generator. Is this possible??

Ultimatly, I would like to use a forklift motor on the blower. but you get the idea.

Am I nuts?
