Heyoo... I drug this POS Polaris Ranger home from a friend's house. It has a busted motor and seems like an ideal candidate for an EV swap. I've spent the last few days watching hours of youtube and searching through this site, but haven't been able to find much for this specific build. While I am no fabricator I have rebuilt a few Jeeps from the ground up though this will be my first EV attempt. My plan is to go with a fork lift motor, but I see a lot of folks using them in cars. This POS is super light and will not need to go 80mph and will basically serve as a glorified golf cart around a small beach town. Is the smaller pump motor large enough to push this thing or should I just stick with the drive motor? I would like it to at least be able to go 35-mph which is the max speed here.

Anyways... Looking to build this thing over the winter so I'll be poking around and asking dumb questions. Feel free to point and laugh.

Thanks!
Al
