Questions on Advanced DC motor

There's a new "Advanced DC FB1-4001A, 28.5 HP, 72 - 144 VDC" motor for sale locally. I'm currently unemployed and don't know if I should swing this deal. He's asking just under $1000 for it. Would it be fairly quick and easy to resell it if I needed to?

Would this be a good motor for my proposed Ranchero EV? The Ranchero is 2400 lb stock, I live in a hilly area, top speed of 60 MPH, range of 35-50 miles using FLA batteries.

Thanks,
Kurt

The motor would be fine, but you will have a difficult time making the upper end of that range at 60 mph with fla batteries. The drag force on the Ranchero will be fairly large at that speed.
Thanks, but it already sold.
