Re: [EVDL] $5mo For EV Research & Development?
I might donate to an existing EV effort, but probably not to a start-up. (I have
bought stock in EV companies, and donated to Lee Hart's efforts
http://www.sunrise-ev.com/ .)
With an existing effort, you have some assurance that person has enough interest
and skills to do something. Even a poor, struggling startup should be able to do
one conversion, one prototype controller, or similar to demonstrate.
For Tesla, I want to see them to continue making cars. For Lee Hart, I hope to
continue to see his great posts, and hope to see he has EV kit cars for sale
eventually.
BYU and Ohio State have EV programs (likely more, I just happen to know of those
2 off the top of my head). They have demonstrated they are pushing the envelope
of EV research. These programs would be great places to send donations.

4 very quick questions. The best Q&A will get posted in an upcoming
report/article I'm writing.
As an EV enthusiast, builder, or owner, would you support an EV research
and development project with a $5/month donation?
If yes, why?
If no, why not?
Would do/would you want out of it?
