The original dimensions (as near as I can judge from the photographs)
and the dimensions of my model are:
orig. model
height 63" 5.25"
width 48" 4"
length 75" 6.75"
wheelbase 48" 4"
tires 16" 1.25"
track 40" 3.25"

I hadn't thought of that. The present model isn't strong enough for
that, but since I now have plans, I guess once could be made that was.

Great! You can use the above scale to get a photo of the right
approximate size. Given all the variations we're bound to get, I'm
expecting the end result will be a collage. Bob's favored style of
construction is very much the School of Expediency, so this should fit
right in! :) A little note on it and signature on it would be great as
well. Either email it directly to me, or mail me a printed copy.

That's also a great idea. *Are* there any models of the Tesla?

No; his VWs were Rabbits.

My family found me a silver 2008 Hot Wheels Tesla so they do exist.
