Ben,

Get the model number of the motor and E-mail Advanced DC and see what a
new end-cap would cost. Add in some time or cost to get it changed out
and you have an idea of what you think it is worth. From my one E-mail
to Advanced DC I received a motor outline drawing and performance curve.
They seem helpful. If the motor needs a headband (screen over the brush
holders) to keep out debris, you can order that at the same time.

I saw that a few days ago, that's what I thought. How repairable is
that endcap (Jim?)

Considered throwing a real lowball offer at the guy.
