Common terminology mistake people make. The original post should have
said that the vehicle ran on vegetable oil, not biodiesel. Veggie oil
can be turned into biodiesel, but it is not biodiesel any more than
crude oil is the same as gasoline.

but that's definitely off topic for electric vehicles either way...

Ok, I will not say that bad word any more.

But, many of the conversions are vehicles that use to use this bad word, so
when a EV'er wants to compare the EV with a vehicle that use a different
energy than electric, how does a person compare the cost per mile with the
existing energy they once use, if they want to know that difference?

So if a person is using another form of energy that is costing him about
nothing for now, that person said he will not convert to electric, because
his cost per mile is way lower than the cost per mile for my EV.
