In the EVDL user conventions we make the following >advisory< statement :

"Information you post on the EVDL may be used for FAQs and other resources
available to the public. Posting material on the EVDL is equivalent to
releasing it into the public domain. If you want to retain ownership or
copyright, please don't post your writing on the EVDL."

However, I am not an IP attorney and that statement has not been reviewed by
an IP attorney, so it may not be correct or accurate. Copyright law is
complex and often confusing. Everybody who publishes anything anywhere
struggles to understand and properly apply the difference between research
and plagiarism, the concept of fair use, and many other issues.

In general, if you wish to reproduce verbatim material you've read on the
EVDL, I suggest that you seek permission from the author and/or consult an
intellectual property attorney.
