Re: [EVDL] Deep cycle battery testing: load test vs. AH capacitytest

both of my chargers are multi stage but with fixed profiles. I was responding to your very specific voltage details. Not sure I could charge EXACTLY as you suggested but I do controlled over charging as you suggest.

Actually deka and some others do make gels as well as agms.

Point very well taken. I did search the ev Album before I bought tjem and actually found some positive reviews on this model. That said I'm trying to make the best of the lemons I have.

This isn't directly related to your question, but part of your problem with
the pack might be the batteries themselves. Have a look through the list
archives (evdl.org/archive), searching for "Universal Battery." Anecdotal
evidence isn't conclusive, of course, but a few people have posted fairly
negative experiences with these low-cost, Chinese-made AGM "Universal" brand
batteries.

Has anybody built Lee's TMSI Battery Cycler
http://www3.telus.net/nook/balancerland/cycler/index.htm and would be willing to loan/rent it to
Peter?
