This car was converted in the mid-1990s by an EVDL member, Jeremy Philips.
I remember him writing about it. I might even be able to find some of
Jeremy's old posts if a potential buyer wanted to see them. (No guarantees,
my archive from that era has some media problems.)

A while later, Jeremy vanished from the list. He may have resurfaced a time
or two after that, but I had the impression that he'd built a reliable daily
driver and didn't feel much need to fuss with it.

I'm not 100% sure what happened to Jeremy. I have a vague recollection of
hearing that he'd passed away, but I hope that's a "false memory."

In ICE trim, the Del Sol didn't get rave reviews in the car mags, but I
always thought they were sweet little numbers. If I had any more room in
the garage I'd probably be headed out to look this one over. I hope it
finds a good home.

Jeremy did pass away from cancer many years ago. The car was bought at a s=
teal price at an estate sale by Tim Shjarback and is a 144 volt system. It =
is featured with copyright permission by the subsequent owner, on my CivicW=
ithACord DVD.
