This is an old song; I've heard many verses of it over the years. A friend
of mine eventually gave up on his Zivan K5 because despite many returns and
telephone conversations, Greg refused to set it up the way he wanted it.
This was probably 8-10 years ago, so as I say it's nothing new.
I doubt that you will get any satisfaction from Elcon.
The only solution I can see is for some open-minded hacker (in the good
sense) to reverse engineer the Zivan firmware so users can tweak it
themselves.
