Attachments aren't allowed, to prevent distribution of malware and save
bandwidth. If you attach stuff, the listserver removes it. If you want to
share something, post it on your own website or upload it to a file sharing
service, then include a link in your message. For photos, try tinypic.com -

FWIW, Comuta-Cars used either a 5.13 or 6.18 (IIRC) rear axle. They had a
top speed around 35-40 mph. Jim Tervort told me that CVI shipped the 5.13
cars to flat areas, and 6.18 cars to hilly regions. My C-car came with a
6.18 axle and I naively swapped it for a 5.13, hoping for a higher top
speed. I replaced quite a few brush sets on that motor because when
climbing hills the pigtails acted as fuses.
The motor RPM values you quote do sound very low, but might be reasonable if
the motor is designed for them.
Figuring what ratio to use for a given motor seems to be a mathematical
exercise involving the motor's maximum HP, efficiency curves, and maximum
RPM. This is something that I have never had to do, but others here do it
frequently, so I hope someone will post the procedure. One would hope that
NEVCO went through this already for your car.
Another approach is to just buy several different sprockets and belts, and
experiment with different ratios. That's probably how I'd do it. ;-)
