I interpreted your previous statement as saying there would be one and
only one drop-in kit that would be identical for replacing any car using
that engine. If so, I assert you couldn't rely on any more space then
the engine itself takes up, even if your car has more room. Thus, my
claim of short range since everything would be within the volume of the V8.

Now I think I understand you as saying the kit builder would have more
than one design, but it would still be a monolithic piece that could be
dropped in. Am I right this time?
