We've got public charging, mostly feeding the city's own fleet of RAV4
EVs. We have one station that has solar power, but the city has been
basically giving away thousands of kwh's to PG&E because there are so
few EVs and this one site is most accessible if you are heading *out*
of town, so even I don't use it.
Until there are more EVs running around, it would cost more to install
one for-pay console than all the power given away to the public.
