Hi Steve and All,
While my call did not make the air, I did send a back up e-mail to
[email protected], to reinforce my support for modeling Oregon's HB2328.
I also pointed out the vast unfairness for those who have multiple EVs, and
brought up the point of if we leveraged the fee against the less than 5000
registered EVs and raised half a million dollars for the transportation
budget, 1) how far would that go in the budget, and 2) would it be worth
giving the emerging technology a black eye on the national stage?
I am thinking that these are points that need to be brought up to any
legislators on the transportation committee and of course, our Governor as
well!
