Re: [EVDL] US News & World Reports Attacks EV's.

I'm with you on the used car thing. I have bought exactly one brand new car in my life and that was the Insight.
Still we are not comparing a new car to a used car. Do you think anyone would buy a 2011 Honda Accord if it cost $15000 more than a 2011 Toyota Camry? That is the way people are going to look at it, and it is not the first time. A decade or so ago would you have spent $30000 on a Geo Prism? That is roughly what Solectria was trying to sell an electrified Geo Prism for. When you are stuck in traffic jams are you surrounded by Solectria EV's????
I'm hopeful it will work out better this time around, but to dismiss valid reasoning as some kind of conspiratorial blather is silly and that is what the title of this thread was suggesting... an Attack on EVs.
