When trying to generate the EDS file from the DVT software I get this error message.
"Error unable to select index 'a number' in OD table"
note: a number changes every time I try to send the command to create the file with the command "create_eds 1".

Would somebody in the forum know how to solve this?
The software connects fine, no issues with USB port, I have connectors and license.
I am running Windows 10 on VirtualBox

what DVT version are you running ?

DVT Customer 2020.11
According to the Help/About menu item.
It also says DLL version 2.3
TLC version 8.6

Thanks for the advise all of you. I have now installed the Version 2021.12a of DVT from Sevcon and now I have been able to generate the EDS file at my second attempt.
