Do you have some photos through the air cooling slots of the windings and the commutator? The black cover comes off very easily to show the commutator end.

This what you're looking for? Everything is pretty tidy and clean underneath. This was always stored in a climate-controlled garage (the un-coated steel plate would make you think otherwise, right?)
