I'm wondering how feasable this motor is for use in a sub 40mph buggy. Its pretty heavy compared to other's I've seen and has a lower max rpm rating. However I'd probably be using it as direct drive into a ~3.09 final drive ratio. I am hoping to find a simple DC motor on craisglist one of these days, but a seller has a few of these really cheap, I just wouldnt know how to control it at the moment. For a battery pack I'm leaning towards repurposing a leaf or volt setup.
