Hi guys
For those of you who have taken Tesla's apart I have a question about the mechanical brakes
Not the re-gen just the pad gripping the brake rotor

The calipers look like normal hydraulic calipers to me - but I'm being told that the Tesla's use a "fly by wire electronic system"

As far as I can see Tesla uses a hydraulic braking system - master cylinder - calipers which is also the "back-up"

But I believe that it does doe some smart things with the pressures so it can apply the brakes with no pedal movement

Can anybody confirm or deny my thoughts?
