Talking with a friend who parts cars out for a living, he turned me on to the website where he gets his semi-totaled cars at auction. Browsing the site, I found some great donor cars. I'm the type that likes to see exotic, and otherwise semi-rare cars become donors. Just thought that I'd share the link if anyone out there is looking for a donor. The site takes a little while to figure out, but the filters and sorting are pretty effective

Here's a old-school Ferrari for around 12k:

F = ma would be my first consideration followed by drag coefficient if speed is required. A low initial mass allows a greater range of options.

my $.02: Been my experience that they exotic cars have exotic ($$$) parts.

And I can't see where my ex-boss is going to part with his gallardo even if the deer totally screwed up the car.

Having said that, I realize that I have come across some smoking hot deals like this.

good luck.
