I wouldn't worry too much. I've seen both episodes. Not only is the Hy Wire a couple year old prototype, but I believe this episode may even be a season older than the Tesla episode.

Top Gear is just entertainment. And good at it.

They bashed the Reva / G-Wiz EV a couple seasons ago, too. But, I loved that episode. After I almost died laughing at the way they kept comparing it to regular cars and making their jokes about it, they put far too much voltage to it and it went like a "bat outta .... well, you know."

They make fun of almost everybody's vehicles. It's what they do.
