Ultracapacitor

Are you talking about the multi-farad lightning discharge caps used in auto-audio apps or is this something else?

Anyone know of pricing for one of these capacitors? Is an expensive circuit required or you just strap 'em in and hook 'em up?
The idea of having a few seconds of great power in the EV for impressing people at the lights etc sounds great!
But as with anything great, it's normally quite expensive. Anyone heard of these being used on a standard EV conversion?

Nice. They sell the Escaps that a lot of people use and generally I think their products are well geared toward EV applications.
