I think it’s 6.5

I checked the ratio and it's actually 10.5:1 which makes it ideal for a dune buggy, sand rail type conversion.
more low end flexibility, without crazy high top speed.

The motor is 80kW continuous, 135kW peak, max 7700rpm.

The gearbox is a strange combination with this motor, as it is at redline around 70mph and more like a 45-50mph vehicle application. It has enough power for a car, but the gearbox is a misfit.

You might think about unbundling the gearbox from the motor/inverter, since the motor/inverter could push a small car to legal highway limits by going in through a different gearbox or the vehicle transmission?

This transaxle came from a front wheel drive van with tall tires and top speed restrictions. This package would be ideal for a VW based dune buggy with large diameter wheels & a need for low end torque not high top speed. It would replace the engine and transaxle and could be configured with regeneration to charge when towed behind a truck or RV.

Regen kicks in on braking, so it’s like brakes on a trailer only making use of the waste energy. Then when you get to the beach or forest trail you can zip around quietly without stinking up the place with nasty exhaust
