Use of gears for torque multiplication

863 4
hi there,
my electric motor is having a power output of 400W and rated torque of 1.3 Nm. But my vehicle requires torque of 12Nm on one wheel. So my gera ratio comes to be apprx 1:10. But this gear ratio is too large for a vehicle. So can anyone suggest any other methods of torque multiplication?
Can I use a planetary gear system for such large gear ratio?

No torque is relative to power and speed. I'd you want more torque you will need more power from your motor or to drive it slowly like you have described. You should also consider the losses in your gear reduction
